I finally get to say it, thank you!
So i'll come right out and say it. Got a job offer on Monday! I actually had a job offer a week ago but it was in a location I didn't like and they were offering hump change for salary. I was really debating about taking it then another company got back to me very promptly on an application I made and within a week had given me 2 phone interviews, flown me out for an on site tour and offered me the job there and then! It's a really good company and a nice area, and the people there seemed awesome so I'm very excited.
I'm awaiting the official approvals and paperwork to come through later this week but just wanted to thank everyone here for your help in the last 6 months. I will be starting a new thread about questions of the new state I'm moving to but as I say just wanted to say thanks. Such a relief!

Congratulations on finally getting that final approval. I know how frustrated you were in finding employment anywhere in the US and so glad that it is somewhere you would like to try living. Now you no longer have to entertain thoughts of returning to the UK.
