Still haven't had any HP ever since the factory was closed in Ast*n and production moved to Holland. |

I may be imagining it, but HP doesn't taste the same anymore. It seems sweeter and the colour's lighter:(

Re: HP SAUCE
It isn't made in England anymore. Holland now from memory.

Re: HP SAUCE
It's a lot runnier as well:(

I've still got two large bottles of English HP sauce.

Re: HP SAUCE
I remember my dad coming home from the pub after 6 pints of Abbot Ale, picking up the HP that I'd just used and failed to put the top back on, he shook it like a mad man and coated the wall, my mum and himself....oh how he laughed!:frown:

Re: HP SAUCE
I'm missing Branston personally though HP is my breaky sauce of choice.
I received 2 Branston squeezies in the mail for my birthday and they are nearly done but I'm flying back in a couple of weeks with an empty suitcase for condiments!!! :-) |
Re: HP SAUCE
Available at the shops here in Oz.

Re: HP SAUCE
I have to be in the right mood for HP sauce and usually have it on scrambled eggs and sausages for breaky. Luckily I don't eat it that often so I don't mind paying the US prices once in a blue moon. :)

Re: HP SAUCE
I have quite a selection at the end of the street in Publix, there's even a choice of either fine cut or regular Branston Pickle! Daddies and HP are both present and correct but still no Curly Wurly.

Re: HP SAUCE
Would you like me to ship you some? I can nip down there no problem, I'll throw you in a pack of Jammy Dodgers if you like, or how about a nice Shepherds Pie mix? I'm a maverick, I just don't care!
