It's based around malt vinegar with fruits and spices like dates and tamarind.

I do. In fact mixed a little with some ketchup and a squirt of yellow mustard last night to make a simple BBQ sauce.

They do a '25% less salt, 25% less sugar' version these days which is more vinegary. I prefer it.

Personally I like Daddies and I am stocked up on that sauce although I must admit HP is very good. Matter of preference I suppose.
