Anyone switched to all LED lights yet?

And, has anyone added a heat reclaimer to heat their water using the AC?

I had a flyer from Ace seems the price is coming down, switching over, well when the current ones and my spares go.

AC? Whats that?

This ZeroEnergy, Heat Recovery Water Heater System - Zero Energy, ZE-TSHRU at The Home Depot - Mobile

The power company here in Florida recommend it.

They probably do.

If you get caught though, it can be a bit of a fine and an unlikely sentence.

Oddly enough I found a twitter account for the local public works. They prefer you bring it to a hazardous waste event (all of which are clear across town), mail them back to the manufacturer or one or two may be placed in the trash.

So do I put one in each week for five weeks?

What about the local fire station? Ours, also take dead smoke alarms back.

I'm all LED now and have been for a while. Retro fitted a heat pump to my water heater and am also looking at heat exchangers on the shower wastes.

sheepdip, would it be possible to retro-fit a heat pump to an A/C unit do you know?

can you post a link to the instructions for retro-fitting to a water heater?

Nearly all my lights are now LED.

I bought a unit called an Airtap that was designed as a retrofit for water tanks: -

But it looks like they're out of business now. It basically is an a\c unit.

A neighbour was mowing this morning, which reminds me I need to sharpen my mowers' blades this weekend and change their oil, as well as get to work raking the pine needles off the grass before the grass grows up through the needles. A quick "tidying mow" might be nice, but it's still be 3-4 weeks before the grass starts seriously growing.

Still mow mine most weekends. It rained a little on Thursday, which meant it's grown a bit :)

Also, I'm making a barn door at the moment, too.

I manages to know trench through the snow drift outside the main door. A wood pile I stupidly left where it would be covered by a drift is reappearing, need to get to it before the next moisture.

We have nice weather so we have had melt but the ground is frozen so only the top inch melts. Have to walk the dog in the morning.

We're about half LED, but we do have a lot of lights in our house. Something like 120 (the guy who redid our house before us had a thing about spotlights). So we replaced the ones we use most often with LED. The state was offering a subsidised deal so we bought something like 50 bulbs half price.
