Again... not advocating for any illegal activity here... but...

When I was a 20-year-old student in Michigan, there were a lot of cold, snowy nights spent at parties in people's rooms or houses. The older ones would buy booze legally and the younger ones may or may not have helped drink it.

The cops never came out because the weather was so bad.

Just sayin', like.

Yeah I was 19 when I came out here and was well annoyed I couldn't drink, but I had lovely enlightened friends who would buy it for me.
To this day pushing 40 I still get asked for id by the old biddies at check-out with my little bottle of merlot. Might as well be buying crack in there eyes lol. You'd think I'd love the compliment but the looks my kids give me when the suspicious eyes gives me the up and down...well it's a bit weird frankly.

Not quite the same as the good old days of yore, 14 years old, eight or ten pints at 1/9d a pint, your mates carried you home and dumped you (unconscious) in the front garden. Someone's front garden, anyway.
