Americans continue to elect what to me looks like pro- or at least not
anti-immigration representatives for the most part. Ain't that funny?

Tough luck. I don't give a flying ***** about what you want.

I never said I fully agree with the inmigration program, however I dont
think of the H1B program to be a fraud, I dont really want to get into it
because I think this argument has gone long enough.
What really upsets me is that because he isnt a good enough developer he
cant find a job, so he blames talented people for it. Thats like me saying I
got a C in the class and the professor didnt curve it because of some fraud
going on with the people that got As because they studied.
The other thing you are not H1Bs, you dont know how hard it is for an H1B to
find a job. I have had companies go to the point of saying, we are going to
hire you, but what is this thing about a visa sponsorship? then they go on
to changing their minds (not only small companies but big companies). I have
seen less qualified americans get hired on because the company didnt want to
mess with the h1b issue.
Now I do agree there is issues with the amount of people that come from
specific countries to study and to work, there should maybe be a cap on the
amount of people that can come from a country or region.
And I definately have a problem with the people that come to the US and dont
learn english, dont respect american culture, and dont try at all to fit. I
think if you come to the US, you should at least make some effort to adjust
to the new enviroment. In my case, 90% of my friends are born US citizens, I
try to always speak english unless someone just doesnt know any english and
then I make sure I am not excluding anyone that doesnt know spanish. And I
certainly dont try to only hang out with other south americans, if I wanted
to do tht I would have stayed in south america, where I could make much more
money and have a very easy life, but then thats not the point! I work on the
technology field, and hope to make a difference someday, something that its
almost impossible to do on a third world country.

Isn't it funny how nobody without such a platform is allowed by the elites
to get close to a party nomination?

Could it be because the elites recognize America as a Nation of Immigrants?

Exactly, what I would expect from a Brit! I guess he has amnesia about the
fact that the BRITISH BROUGHT A HUGE NUMBER OF WHITE PEOPLE HERE IN CHAINS.
What about Cromwell's enslavement of the Irish? They were the first slaves
brought to this country and Barbados. What about the practice of
kidnapping white children and selling them into bondage? Oh yes, let's not
forget about the British transportees who were also brought here in chains
to be literally worked to death! The fact is pure and simple! The lion's
share of white people who came to the America between 1609 and the American
Revolution came here in bondage. When the British could no longer play
this game after the war, they setup shop in Australia!

As an aside, for those people who want an eye opening experience, please
read the book "They Were White and They Were Slaves: The Untold History of
the Enslavement of Whites in Early America" by Michael A. Hoffman II. If
you have an Irish or British name and have tried to trace your family
history back to a manifest with no luck, then there is a good chance that
you are the descendent of someone who came here in bondage on a coffin ship.

Not at all. Politicians, once elected, do the work of the
highest bidder.

Right. Most parasites don't care what their hosts want.

Actually, America is a nation of Americans -- native-born and
numbering ... what? ... 240 million? Sell your nonsense to the naive.
They might buy it.

Oh, I see. Those Mexicans coming in must be really wealthy!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, denial is a powerful emotion. However, if it makes you
feel better, be my guest.

Nope, but working for below the wages of, and with less workplace
protections than, Americans, they certainly put more money in the pockets of
their unscrupulous employers than would American employees.

Hence, the rich, to get richer, bribe the policymakers, who really ought to
be working for the people who elect them.

I guess your problem has nothing to do with immigration, then. If what you
say is true, with or without immigration, the politicians are always going
to benefit the richest.

Apparently you don't know the definition of the
word *immigrant*, do you. Borrow a dictionary
and look it up. And by the way, return to
your beloved homeland.

Actually, those who favor their presence tend to be fairly
wealthy. The Mexicans aren't and likely never will be,
given the limitations put on them by their culture which
has practically no respect for learning or accomplishment.

You owe me and every other American an apology for your
presence in this country and a swift departure from it.

Immigration is a kind of symptom of the politicial cancer, as
well as being a kind of cancer in itself.

That's always the danger.

Intersession must be over at some community colleges, and once again we are
treated to specious syllogisms. The perfersser, for sure, could quickly
educate us as to how many of those 240 million are descended from
immigrants.
