Hi All,

I wonder if anyone can help me, 2 years ago I was caught speeding in California, Around Barstow, on a trip back to Vegas from LA, I was caught doing 90mph, and was issued with a ticket, the Police man said I would be sent a letter informing me of a court date, but here we are 2 years later and nothing, so last week I searched everywhere and found my tickets, logged on to EPay and found I owed $500 , I have decided to go back to Vegas for xmas, so I thought I would clear this fine, so I paid the fine, and have got a printed receipt and reference number, Does anyone know if anything will happen when I fly back into Nevada at xmas?
Im quite worried I will get arrested, but I keep telling myself I have paid the fine, and im not planning on hiring another car, anywhere in America, so any help would be gratefully received.

I guess driving slower than traffic makes one stand out, doesn't it. . My remote Interstate driving is usually on I-5, not I-15. I usually set the cruise control at 80 and have programmed the car to give a speeding chime at 82. I'm amazed at the number of cars that PASS me all the time.

The speeding is no problem, but I wonder slightly about "failure to appear." In case the "bench warrant" shows up in the CPB computer, I would bring your records and the payment receipt with you. You do NOT have to volunteer the information unless asked.

Out of idle curiosity regarding obtain electronic records from courts, I just darted into San Bernadino County website -- I saw the method you used of paying off speeding tickets. Under the "criminal" tab,they do have court dockets available -- you may want to see if the citation is there -- probably is not. But if it is, you would want to print out the docket sheet.

And in your experience, would you say that i will have no trouble getting through imagration???

And is the case definatly closed???

I suspect if you want advice to your specific situation you should go see a lawyer and ask these questions. Would it really make you feel any better if someone on the internet told you it's all okay?
