OK Peeps, it's been years since I've lived in the UK, but still, every now and again I wake up with this song in my head
It goes something like this:
"I could do without Monday mornings, getting out of bed, stretching and a yawning, I could do with a 'D'
Amongst the lyrics are the following:
"I could do without the British weather, half way home at the end of my tether, both of my feet are killing me! I could do with a 'D'!!!
The lyrics belong to a commercial I think!
PULEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE, can somebody tell me, what the F@#k is a 'D'.
I think it's some kinda tea.
Thank y'all for helping if you can coz it's durivvvvvvvvvvvvvving me crazy:curse:

"D" is a brand of Tea that Brooke Bond used to market (I believe the brand is now PG Tips).

Wow! A blast from the 80s!
You mean it hasn't always been called PG Tips? (American here)

^^^ above post my fault - didn't know my wife was automatically logged in!
Yes! Big green box with a big yellow "D" on it sums up my tea-drinking during my formative years.
It is funny how these ad jingles stick in your brain, especially if you were a kid at the time. I can still remember word-for-word the Dairylea advert with all the kids in a cow shed ("Have you ever wondered how you get triangles from a cow?"), or Frankie Howerd saying "you only get an OOh with Typhoo" (can you still get Typhoo?) They certainly don't make 'em like they used to!

I remember that ad too.
Wasn't that at about the same time as someone brought out instant tea (like Nescafe for tea)? It didn't take off...
