Hello...we're new
Hi everyone. I am so glad I stumbled upon this website. I think it may just be what hubby needs at the moment. We have just moved back from the UK (I am a US citizen) after getting hubbys Visa in June. We are living in NH and I think he is terribly homesick. I can totally understand as I went through the same thing myself, but I was hoping to find some of his fellow Brits close by so he wouldn't feel so lost.
Nice to meet you all.

Hi. Your husband's name isn't Buxton, is it?

He (we) is missing the local pub and all of our friends. There just isn't anything to compare to it here. And of course he is missing his family terribly. His boys are still there with their mom and he is very close to all his brothers and his parents. Thank goodness for the phone and the internet. Now if I can just find some good english food, we will be all set.
Thanks for all the welcomes and the advice. I am sure we will be here quite often.

Brrr cold up there....but so beautiful. I think thats why Glyn agreed to move here. He loves the outdoors and fishing. He is waiting for the snow to fly but I have warned him that come April...he will be sick of it.

I'm down here outside of Savannah, GA, cold here is anything below 50 and snow, well that would be cause for a disaster.
