Long time no see.

Looks like I'll be leaving the desert of Arizona for the lush green rolling northern Virginian hills or somewhere in Maryland, but either way close to DC next year. Fairfax or Vienna, VA are my two preferred locations. Anyone live close by?

I just happen to see this one and wanted to say goodbye. You were a big help to me along our immigration road here in Phoenix during the past several years, so thank you for that. Good luck with your future endeavor....but how will you survive without the dry heat!?

There are quite a few expats in the DC area, though not all on here of course, but the DC area is quite an international city with all the embassies, media groups, and other international organizations and companies.

Fairfax and Vienna are pretty far from the rolling hills. More like slow rolling traffic. Depends a bit on where you want to work, DC proper, MD, VA, etc. And whether you're going to have kids in school or not.

Anyway, let us know if you have any questions about any areas.

I don't live anywhere near by, but I was looking at Maryland a bit back, but the job didn't work out.
