Just wanted to post a hello to everyone on this part of the forum. I only discovered it yesterday and was pleased and sad at the same time to find others like myself who really miss the UK.

It certainly helped me to realise I was the only one who find insignificant things about my country sooooooo important!!

I think its nice to have a space to be honest, without having to explain yourself.

No plans for heading back at the moment, just lots of missing it!! Have been here for 8 years now and Spanish husband and I have agreed not the moment yet...but we hoping to spend at least a year or two in the Uk

oh ok only you posted in the moving back part of BE that's why i asked but no worries. you are only a stone's throw from the uk so that's not bad. anabella is spanish and now living in the US, she'll prolly be along to say hola

Welcome! No worries, this forum has folk who are going, who desperately want to go and even some who are stuck where they are! Common to us all is the fact that we miss and appreciate home! We are always happy to chat about the good bits!

Then I think its the place for me. Thanks. And also interesting to read the posts about going back to the UK... it must be quite a huge decision and quite daunting even as much as going in the first place.
