Default HEEEEEEELP

Right Hello - I'm The Bax's better half

We're on a recci 16th April (ish +/- 7 days) need some guidance - please can anyone help....

Questions ...

What is the weather due to be like (rough/best guestimate good enough - don't bother with the crystal balls) for mid to end of month....averages are good

Places to stay in / around Mount Vernon - not costing arms and legs....

Reasonably priced places to eat...that are edible

Things to see and do around Mount Vernon (other than fields...)

Any other info which will help will be gratefully received....

Could well be rainy... temps probably 50s - 70s F.

Mt. Vernon accomodation

A short drive to the northeast you'll find the Amish communities of Berlin, Millersburg, Walnut Creek, etc. You might find that interesting. Just don't go on Sunday... NOTHING will be open.

Go the other direction and you'll hit Columbus. Some nice suburbs there, such as Dublin. That's where you'll find shopping malls, theaters, etc.
