Yeah, we have quite a few milliners here in Louisville. For the Kentucky Derby, women go all out on the hats. To me, they are a PIA because they block your vision, possibly intrude into others personal space (depending on the size), and usually don't stay on very well. These are just my personal observations watching ladies try to wear them as I've never worn them myself, and don't ever plan on wearing one. There is nothing practical in a hat, unless it's a straw hat to protect one from the sun when working outside.

Here! I did manage to get a hat.. not particularly glamorous, but I got one Did I mention I ran into ABY?.. funniest thing - he was driving the shuttle bus, which happened to be a London Bus..
