I was at the mall last week... Marshall Fields (OK Macy's), Younkers, American Greeting and Hallmark already have some christmas stock out and Hobby Lobby have had theirs out since June.

Hobby Lobby is slightly different because a lot of people (okay, mostly women! :D ) make christmas gifts, table center pieces etc. so they have to have their stuff out early.

Hobby Lobby is a "christian" store, so that probably explains it.

sorry don't get your point :confused: you have to be a christian woman to want to make christmas decorations?
we don't have one here :( I love those type of stores ie michaels etc and now feel I'm missing out!

there's loads of stores in the UK that push xmas stuff and I wouldn't say they were christian stores.
Here I'm on the bandwagon of trying to get stores to admit there is a xmas, as it is so hard to get nice things that say merry christmas on it and not happy holidays :mad:
but thanks to you I now know where to shop for xmas goodies - anyone know of any christian xmas shop here in WA as we don't have hobby lobby :D
