Grand National on US TV
Re. Is the Aintree Grand National normally on US TV?
Hi guys,
I can't find anything on the Internet, and I've only been in the U.S for 7 months so I dont know if it was on TV last year.
Can anyone let me know?
I have an invite for another event on April 11th and also I want to do a sweep in work, so I'd like to know if it'll be on TV.
Thanks

Never seen it. but I've never actively searched for it.
Usually, the three races in the Triple Crown are the only ones that get any major coverage.
I think there is. or used to be, a racing channel on DirecTV that may cover it, but wouldn't bet the farm on it.

It'll be on most sport streaming sites...should be easy enough to find closer to the day.

We have two racing TV channels on our cable. One of them, HRTV I think, usually shows it, albeit with betting shop commentary and cutting back and forth to races at other tracks.

Thanks guys, if the "main" TV channels don't show it I doubt I'll bother doing a sweep.
