A good news phone call from the UK
My eldest son just called to say he and our DIL are expecting their first child. The news is doubly great because they had to have IVF treatment and it was successful first time. There is about a 30% chance of that happening.
Mrs L and I won a huge box of booze in a raffle last night so someone knew I would be needing supplies for a celebration tonight.

Great news -- congratulations to the prospective parents and grandparents. Hope the bottle is champagne! Oops, just saw it's a box -- though it could be a box of bottles!

It's our third grandchild but the first UK one. Baby is due, all things being well, December 17th so a trip back to the UK early 2016 is on the horizon.
It was indeed a box of bottles of different types of liquor. As my son and DIL and her parents will be here in 3 weeks a very good celebration is on the cards.

Mrs L has gone to a neighborhood meeting this evening, I suggested she get a Powerball ticket on the way home.
