Anyone got any recommendations for a good family places to eat in Miami (we're staying at Turnberry Isle so would need to be close) and also any must do things in Disney.
would definately appreciate your info if you have any - thanks

Deffo eat at cinderellas castle at the Magic Kingdom.
You go up into the top of the castle, food is excellent but you need to book in advance (can do online) great to watch the 9pm fireworks from up there.

).As to Miami, you'll have time to do some sightseeing. Five days is a long time there IMO. How about going on the Airboats in the Everglades (they go very fast, so might want to take turns with hubby), my kids were down there a few weeks ago and took in an alligator farm that ran airboats too. Drive down to Key West along the keys, a few hours' drive down but then, it is just islands, and you're used to that

Family friendly would be the chains. Bennigans, Macaroni Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Olive Garden, etc.

Make sure you take a walk down International Drive (Orlando) and see all the quirky architecture on the buildings - your kids will love it, they're young enough (fire hydrants upside down..etc...). Ripley's Believe it or Not might be a fun place to take them - though could be a bit scary for the little ones. Mine always had a giggle when they went there. Since you're going to be there, take in the Kennedy Space Center. You might want to do Sea World and/or Discovery Cove (they get to swim with dolphins). (All expensive note, nothing is cheap in Florida
).

We go to Disney about once a month so if you want I can pm you some useful planning websites. October is good because the weather is hot but not really humid. They have the "Food and wine festival" in EPCOT which adds to an array of great restaurants they always have. There is a new "Finding Nemo" show at the Animal Kingdom but if you want to see it get there early as it has had 3 hour long lines because it apparently of Broadway calibre. What resort are you staying at ? If you want to go to the better restaurants it is wise to make reservations months ahead particulraly for Cinderellas royal table. There are lots of English folks there in October because it's half term in UK so you get to laugh at them when after 2 days of walking around white and shirtless they retreat to their hotels with severe sunburn.
