Probably not....you are probably too young.
A rectal check to make sure there is no blood in your stools becomes a standard part of your yearly check up when you reach the age of 40. It can be done before if you have problems in that area or if you have a family history of colon/rectal cancer.

What!?.. This is getting better and better.. I think I'll stick to having those done in Spain once in a while..

So this is why some feel that they need their colon cleansed? Do the doctor tell you this? I've never even heard of this colon cleaning business until I moved here.. which leaves me with another question.. what makes people want to do this for a living?..

Colonic irrigation...I remember reading Diana and Fergie used to have it done...but a colonoscopy is not the same it's a medical procedure.

It also depends on if your ob/gyn is interested in anything other than the female parts. A lot of them will just refer you to GI doc and let them poke your bum
