9586.....guesses ranged from 9000+ miles away to a best of 32 miles away! I can see me wasting a lot of time on this one....

Hmm...score is going up (10987) but so is the variation.....managed to nail The Isle of Skye at 12km away
but got somewhere in samerica mixed up with somewhere in russia over 15000 km away
I can see this becoming as addictive as that 4th grade test someone posted a few years ago where it timed how quickly you could drop the 50 states in the right place on the map....

Best was next village along, worst was wrong continent :@)
Gave up on next round when first three dropped me on a country lane, surrounded by trees with no features anywhere.

Trying to place a marker on a 3"x3" world map is not the easiest thing possible but I did manage to come within 600 Km when I knew exactly where the location was (I knew the location was Avion but couldn't get any closer than the south of France).
