Default Fish and chip shop equipment

Hi all,

This is probably a long shot, but does anybody know anywhere on this side of the pond where I might source a British style fish fryer? I'm a Brit living in NC and part of a group looking to open a traditional fish and chip shop. There doesn't seem any way to source the fryer over here, leaving only the option of importing one at great expense from the UK! We want to replicate the chip-shop experience from back home, so the right fryer is essential.

Any help is appreciated!!

Not sure what you mean by a "British style fish fryer." Have you checked out the NYC restaurant supply stores? Is this the kind of thing you are looking for:

Thirty seconds Googling <commercial kitchen equipment> found this, the very first "Ad" link at the top of the page. ..... Scroll well down (the page seems to have hundreds of models), to get to some larger oned that to the untrained eye look like the one in the picture you linked.

Google also found numerous other competing suppliers.

2) My shed is placed perfectly, within range of both a toilet and a discerning consumer.

Pulaski's Shed. There's your new restaurant. Fried assorted bits and bobs found around the garden. It might work ...

Just make sure the toilet situation is well covered.
