Finally Getting Around To It.
After 24 years of living in USA as a green card holder finally sent off my application for citizenship today. Can't think of a single good reason why I waited so long.
So, here's hoping.

Took me 24 years, too! But then they spent the next two years losing my file and having me fingerprinted multiple times. Don't worry, that was pre Internet and I didn't really give a darn so wasn't tracking it and following up. One day I finally went, "Huh?" and contacted my congressman. Two days later, he'd got me the interview appointment.

I've always wanted to do jury duty, but I wasn't called in the UK, and I've never been called here either in the seven years I've been a citizen. Mrs P has been called four times, three times since we got married!

I've watched lots of telly - sorry - TV. (Acclimatizing.)
I'll make a truly excellent juror.
A. Observe race of accused.
B. Nap through following trial.
C. Write down guilty/not guilty dependent upon A.
D. Go home.
Yes, truly excellent juror.
