Family life in America
One minute he is sitting at home with his wife and adult son after an evening out. A few minutes later his wife, son, and daughter are all dead, after he had shot and killed his daughter and son-in-law in self defense.

I was concerned because it's only 10 miles from where we are moving to, but then I realised the problem solved itself.

Very sad indeed. I read on the local town's news article that they disowned the daughter when she was 20 due to her breaking into the parents home and stealing and vandalised it (IIRC). Sounds like she planned on killing them all and then setting the house on fire. Simply beyond my comprehension.
