Re: Family curse
LOL - We have a holiday curse - as soon as we leave an area something bad happens...hurricanes, boy scouts dying on camping holidays, rock falls, train crashes. I will let you all know of any future travel plans...

Re: Family curse
Hmm..I have a monthly curse, but that's about it.
Though bad things seem to happen in 3's around me.
Hope your son's hand heals good Bev. My father went through intense surgery for his wrist when he blew it out playing softball, so I saw how hard it was for my dad. It'll probably be difficult for awhile, but he'll adjust. He'll be doing things with his left hand before he realizes it.
And hey, maybe it'll get him some sympathy and attention from the girls!

Re: Family curse
We seem to have a faimly curse around here, each year one of us is hurt in some way.
First my daughter had teeth knocked out.
Next year my youngest son was jumped and had to have surgery.
Last year OH falls out of a window while working.
Now my oldest has managed to break his hand to the point of needing surgery to put it back together, not sure of the extent of the pins or whatever he will need, we see the hand specialist on Monday. I'm quite worried because it's his right hand (driving his car is out at the moment) and he is right handed. He could have problems of some kind or another for a long time. He just got an AFLAC accident policy that doesn't go into effect until December 1st!
Then there is the knowledge that next year it is my turn!
