Me neither. A few months ago I received an email from an old friend - he'd been contacted about a possible high school class reunion. The person organizing it had been using facebook to contact people, and it turned out I am one of only two members of our graduating class who isn't on the thing

I realize others experiences might differ.

Phone and email work quite well. Facebook and others I find cumbersome and, like I said, a bit juvenile.

Yep, I talk to one person from high school regularly, we're pretty much best friends. I have no hankering to speak to the rest of them.

I think it's the old curiosity element. I am juvenile in my other fixations such as pink fairy armadillos, pirates (NOT Somalian ones) and proving that penguins are not plotting to take over the world. In other words, different strokes for different folks.
Yesterday when I was searching for some friends from college I ran across a classmate who while I wouldn't go out of my way to contact, it WAS interesting to see a pic of him after 35 years,

Pink Fairy Armadillos eh?
It is amusing seeing some of these people after so many years. That was the scary bit at the reunion. my last memory of most of those people was as spotty sweaty 16 year olds. I couldn't imagine them grown up.

I had mine for a couple of years before I came here.. I didn't really use it much. Now I find it a great way to keep in touch with friends and family back home.. you get to see their pics and see what they are up to daily/weekly without actually communicating.. which works for me
Also a great tool to use when organising stuff with my new found friends

Oh, I looked a bunch of people up!
I didn't find any of them except the one I was really looking for though. But most of the people I was looking up probably aren't the types to join an internet networking site.

Er, that would be the pink fairy armadillos I'm speaking of, not your classmates.

After all this time, I googled pink fairy armadillos too. I can't believe they are real. I always figured it some fake creature you guys had made up!

Hmm..the kitties would definitely think they are a dessert.
