It's a small world after all. I was searching on Facebook and found several folks with my name and several with DH's name. One of the ones with DH's name lives in the West Midlands. So brash Yank that I am, I sent him a message-explained that he and DH had the same name and DH was from Brum where was he. He replied Telford but grew up in Bridgnorth. I knew that DH's father or at least grandfather was from Bridgnorth originally and told him that. Well, turns out that DH and he are second cousins, their grandfathers were brothers. Too twisted for color tv.

I wondered why you and "hubby" had become friends again.....I thought you'd fallen out with each other and then made up again

Well thankfully the other one is also married but her name is different from mine.

Oh dear. I think it was a bad thing that I found this thread and as a result the Facebook group for BE. I just joined it and posted a comment on the discussion board about what our BE user names are. Mine is highly original! I am ever so slightly addicted to facebook and go on it daily. I find it good to keep in touch with people I went to school/uni/work with and people from my hometown that I don't see much.
When I get to Indiana it is going to be a good way for me to stay connected with people. After all, once I have spent most of husbands money buying shoes and entertaining the kids, what will I do? I am not going to be allowed to work!

FB is nice way to keep in touch, that chat feature is a wee bit quicker than PMs on here. Nice to get a "bigger" pic of some of the other BE folks as well.

My update, I got a FR from the gal who's married to the guy in Telford that has the same name as my husband ( the one turns out they're second cousins) AND a FR from two other folks in England with my DH's last name- think they're related (distantly) to him as well.

speaking of FB....anyone else have issues of notice emails not getting sent out when people write on your wall/status etc? Even though those boxes are checked in the settings somewhere...hmmmm
