Re: Edward M. Kennedy
I didn't realise that he was 76 years old....surprised he's lasted as long as this due to his well-known alcoholism.
(I've seen the UK tabloid news in the past week showing the sorry state of Paul Gascoigne 'Gazza' the former England football player....he's totally lost the plot, came out of rehab at 'The Priory' and straight back on the gin, dyed his hair bright red, shaved it all off then tried to commit suicide in his hotel room).
I'm not keen on the Kennedy's. There is a guy whom lives up the street from me whose 15 year old sister Martha Moxley was murdered in CT by Michael 'Kennedy' Skakel; it took many years to bring him to trial (I guess he has influential friends and relatives just like his uncle Edward) and I think he may still be in prison.

I had no idea......obviously he tried to get ahead in life by 'trading' on the Kennedy name....I'm pleased it backfired then...

Exactly, there is a God, that is what I thought when I heard he had a stroke. Then they said it wasn't a stroke. Read up on this again the other day. That poor cow, never got to live her life, then a waster like him gets to live this long, there is no justice. If he had been Joe Blow he would still be in nick.

Well I quite like the guy -- as much as you could like any politician. He got better with age.
