Eating habits of Americans

Re: Eating habits of Americans
There's a lot of American things I've adapted to since moving here but I'm not budging on using my cutlery/silverware the British way. The American way seems inefficient and slow. I'm a slow eater anyway and swapping the knife and fork during eating is only going to make me even slower.
Plus, it is practical to eat a burger or sandwich with a knife and fork when it is so tall I can't jam it in my mouth.

That's just what I was thinking. Might try Bru's idea too...melted cheese on top.
You're not common Bru.

I've eaten a burger at Red Robin but frankly, I think the place I work at does better burgers.

I don't know about y'all but I take my Bushes BBQ Baked Beans over Heinze any day...along with some 'tatoe salad and some good pulled pork and 'cue sauce. Mmmm....I'm gonna have some tonight come to think of it.

Beans on toast with the beans cooked to the consistancy of mushy peas with curry powder thrown in.
And tea.
