I've got one who says that a lot, despite the fact that the only dog outside is one of those who live with her. This initiates a vicious circle of indoor/outdoor barking. ;)

I'd just like to say what lovely dogs you lucky people have as part of your families.

I'm also very lucky as dogs have been part of my family for almost 40 years.

I have decided this thread is the antidote to the election thread. Stressed out by politics? Come over here and look at puppies.

Life goes better with dogs! And especially with puppies, which grow up just too darn fast . . . .

We have two rescue dogs:
1. Some sort of largish, tall, skinny white dog with radar-dome ears, black ticking, black "facemask" markings and a bushy tail. Greyhound/Cattle Dog? He's 9, quite an athlete, incredibly smart, somewhat aloof, a complete wimp and a very, very good boy.
2. A small black dog, sort of weiner dog shaped but with the face of a black lab. Lab/Bassett? She's 3-ish, she's basically a solid tube of muscle, she's brave as a terrier and a stone cold killer of all small animals, she DEMANDS cuddling at all times, she is generally ridiculous and she ignores all attempts to train her.

The large white dog sort of rolls his eyes at the antics of the small black dog. They don't have much to do with each other. I love them both, they're my buddies.

Did he seriously just dig another hole and spray all the dirt into the pool?

I told him he could lie there on the new comforter as long as he didn't chew it up like the old one.

Sadly on the other side of us dog lovers; there are gangs that use their dogs for fighting. Despite cash rewards for prosecution the sick ‘sport’ remains big business here in north Florida.
