Disaster
 
Spare freezer in the garage packed up. My British sausages have defrosted :(

Not really sure how longer the freezer has been broken for. Could be a few days.

Are they still cold to touch, like they would be in a fridge? If so, they're fine for cooking and refreezing.

No they are warm and squishy.

Ahhh... then I wouldn't, not knowing how long the freezer had been out.

Edit: not the same, I know, but I'm getting by on the Brats with Beer. I even found some good ones with cheese and jalapenos last week. The Italian sausage is just weird.

Sorry to hear that, though I have to disagree with the thread title; having your freezer fail is a disaster, losing British sausages is a catastrophe! :(

Also depends on the health insurance situation...not a lot of downside if you've already covered this years deductible......;)
