Daylight Savings Time hangover
Every year it takes me a couple of weeks to get over the hour that gets stolen. Of course the worst day is today. The next worst day will be tomorrow morning when I have to get up at the "old" 4.45 am.

I know what you mean, it's strange really cause I had the same 'amount' of sleep last night as usual, but I still feel like I am missing some! The thing that I noticed most on Sunday, was how bloody fast the day went! I was sat reading the paper and drinking my coffee, next time I looked up, it was almost 1pm!

Re: Daylight Savings Time hangover
My daughter told me today that when she was watching the news that they reported that the first day of daylight savings time is the day that the most heart attacks are reported.
I think it sucks. Instead of coming home in the twilight, now I come home in full light but leave for work in the darkness. Leave it alone already and let time stay the way it should be.

I still feel out of whack more than 24 hours after the clocks went forward. I haven't had this happen to me in such a long time. I guess a late night on Saturday didn't really help matters.

Today seemed a total right off to me..felt "out of sorts" all day
Hopefully by Wednesday I'll be getting myself sorted <sigh> I really hate the whole spring forward thing

I'm not too bad, but my kids are a mess. They don't want to go to bed at their regular time and then I can't get them out of bed in the morning, which for one of them in particular is unheard of, he's always up before the birds.

Yes... we all commute (kids and adults) fairly far from home and the school bus schedule and traffic jams starting shortly before 7 am mean an early start. If you don't beat the traffic by 7 am, you may as well wait until at least 9 am or 10 am so that you don't waste time in traffic.
It was so weird to drive to school in the dark again. Hard to motivate the kidlet to wake up in the dark!
Didn't help that our smoke detector false-alarmed at 3 am.... blech.
