You come across as a person of great charm and eloquence, so I don't think you will have a problem.

There are many fun & rewarding things you can do on your own, without a mate.

I'm pretty sure "grab your coat love you've pulled!" still works.

Actually just saying anything with a British accent seems to moisten the gussets around here. Shame I'm married...

'You don't sweat much for a fat lass' would get you a long way in Newcastle.... Not sure it would work here though

Might try that....might not work here in the boondocks but I could ride over to Peoria and hang around Arby's or McDonalds :)

You could go with the classic "All right darling, wanna ride on me tractor."

Re: Dating ...

The women here seem to be a little more crazy than back home, twice i've had older women come on to me right in front of my wife after telling them who she is.....also if i go out without her i seem to get a lot of attention from the accent. just wear a t shirt that says, "British and single"

My hubby's favorite is 'there are 206 bones in your body how would you like another one'

He didn't use it on me I have to add, I would have run a mile:lol:

Failing that, get yourself a puppy and go down the local park

Just out of interest, has any woman ever found any of these lines amusing/provocative?

I think most chat up lines will have worked at least once.....the worst one i ever got away with was a girl asking me my name and i said, "lets not bother with names, we'll just head back to yours and forget it all in the morning"

we wer in a taxi 5min after that.....oh the joys of being young!

Try one of those online places, you know the ones you see advertised on the telly waiting for the second half of the match to start? If what they are showing is true there's nothing but top class totty all gagging for it, and judging by the way the birds are tossing their heads and laughing like drains they'll listen to any old cobblers - unless that's the drugs.

Either way, looks a winner to me.

I asked DH what his was. He didn't have one. I said USE YOUR IMAGINATION then, :frown: I went on to say, what if you saw me sitting in a pub, all alone at a table and I smiled at you. His reply- I'd ask you what bastard stood you up.

Well it's just as well we met online.

How could I ever forget......
Him "Would you like to stroke Kojak if I get him out for you"
Me "Yes please, can I hold him too?"

We were 8 and Kojak was a cockerel
