oooh tree food what a good idea!! I paid $25 for a gorgeous Douglas fir at Home Depot but I was a bit worried it might get dry seeing as I've bought it so early.

The smell of a real one is part of Christmas, it is a pain if you have carpet though, fortunately we have hardwood floors and area rugs

Ahhh pine smelling wall flowers are better when you have carpet and an apartment lol. Maybe OH will be able to talk me into a real tree when we have a house with hardwood floors, otherwise ill be happy with my little fake one for now

The kids have put the tree up and decorated it, but that is about it for now, I am still finding it a bit difficult to get into the Xmas feel of things when its tropical weather outside...
