Thumbs up Cheap flights thread again

I found out on Thursday, this week, that I have to fly to England this weekend for 2 weeks.

Normally I use www.kayak.com which found me a Delta RSW-MAN-RSW ticket at $1,196. Delta.com was slightly higher.

A friend recommended www.sidestep.com which search redirected me to www.vayama.com where I bought a Delta roundtrip ticket via Atlanta, inclusive of taxes and fees, for $874.

Needing a real confirmation I telephoned Vayama with their reference number and a very helpful operator quoted me the Delta confirmation number immediately. I then called Delta, quoting their number, and got seating allocations on all four flights.

An excellent result with a saving of $322 on the ticket.

For the car rental I am again using www.1car1.com which had a Vauxhall Corsa Plus for the 2 weeks for £257.88 inclusive.

I have had 2 experiences with Delta ....... I couldn't give a shit if it cost 4 times as much to fly elsewhere ..... I will never get on a Delta plane again

I like that Vayama site seems to supply lots of flight options, should be useful.
