Thank you for your patience - I'll resist the salad cream thread that I wanted to start.......

Will check out Trader Joes and Whole Foods tomorrow, I guess if I have anything on my side then it is time!

i have to say - ive obviously lost my taste buds over time as i tend to just eat the crap bread and not think about it. I do like the walmart own bakery 'English toasting bread' for toast though (or the meijers own brand sourdough).

I long for english bread far less now than i did.

Will add "buy bread from tesco's" and and hide it in the suitcase before leaving for california. Bringing marmite, salad cream, brown sauce (for the full english) and see if i can get some proper wall's pork sausages, oh and a few cans of baked beans.

You can get beans from amazon, once you get here. You won't be allowed to bring sausages through customs.

Does the yanks have any of the cumberland sausages in safeways or costco? Don't remember seeing any from last visit.
