Default Big Brother, anyone?

Anyone else planning on watching Big Brother this summer? I've watched all seven series, and the Celeb. BBs too, and I told myself I wasn't going to bother this summer; why waste so many precious hours with such rubbish? But I couldn't resist taking a peak at the latest lot. Anyone else planning on wasting time on this rubbish this year?

I gave into temptation last night when Corrie hadn't finished down loading so I down loaded BB while waiting. I must admit that the second episode will be with me in about 15 minutes.

I know it's shite but my mum is addicted and she will rabbit on and on about it so at least I'll know who she's blethering about. And before anyone says anything yes we do have other things to talk about.

It's me being a loving daughter and taking an interest in my mothers interests, honest! Well either that or I'm blaming it all on my pregnancy!!! Last week I threw my bank card and driving licence in the bin, today I have successfully locked myself out the house (I am obviously back in now) and lost one of our cordless telephones.

Every year BB is on my dad threatens to divorce her.
She has even got me on messenger scheduled around BB.

Gosh, you've got high standards! There were some pretty attractive women in this bunch. I'd be interested to see the girls where you come from!

Great excuse! I wish I had such a good one. I just find myself strangely drawn to it, and then kick myself for wasting time on the rubbish. It's like at the end of the Truman Show, where it comes to this great climax and then everyone goes, "Wonder what's on the other channel?" The way that you get really interested in these saddoes' lives and then don't give a stuff within 20 minute of it finishing.

I know exactly what you mean!
I watched all the other ones too. I moved here last June but managed to keep up to date with last years.
Hubs is watching the Speeling B thing on tv so I'm on to watch last nights BB.
I don't know who is sadder him or me!

Hubs, I'd say. Problem for me was that last summer was our first one here and watching Big Brother somehow gave us the feeling of home, a kind of connection to what's going on on a daily basis, and then I got hooked. Must admit that I don't regret watching the Celeb. BBs, though; they are something else!

Have you thought of getting it via bit torrent? The uploads are happening so quickly these days that you can watch it the same evening it's on.

I have to admit that I find this quite amusing to watch when I'm back home, especially in the beginning, though wouldn't download it.
Hopefully someone will smack davina in this series - right smug b**ch.

Can't help myself. I just keep hoping it will be more like BB5 with "no naked jacuzzi-ness" and Fight Night and the lip gloss bitches etc. The fights were more entertaining in BB5, and there was a lot of humour mixed in. There was just so much crying last year.

The twins are annoying me already, I hope they stop screaming soon
