Thanks to everyone for making me a shaodow of my former self!!

At least the ants are eating the evidence. That was a shock. I think several medicinal beers should calm me down

going out to play golf after work so needless to say, i will be coated in several layers of insect repellant in an attempt to avoid what the local newspaper has unsensationally called "the silent killer"....think that might be taking it a bit far!

Seems like everything is this country has got something and wants to bite something else, how did these people cope when they first got here? I'd have been on the first scurvy ridden, rat infested leaky old boat back to the filth of London and a good old fashioned dose of religious bigotry.

It could be in the garage. I never go in there. I have no plans to. They can keep the garage and I'll have the house and yard.

Thats very fair of you, better build some kind of barrier though. Like an acid trench or something so they cant migrate from the garage to the house / yard.
Bloody hate the bugs in this country, they're like something off Alien. The fiure flies are cutesome though.

I agree totally on all counts. The fire flies are the only insects I will voluntarily pick up and then only full of dutch courage ha ha - Mrs Sod likes em too though and tells me they eat mozzies.

Do they really eat mozzies? We're infested with them here! Mozzies that is. I walk from the house to the patio which is about half a metre and they're all over me, I am the original mozzie magnet. Hire me out if you have a bbq none of your guests I'll get bitten, but I'll lose several pints.

I am like that. Went to a bbq the other day at a friend's campsite, and the no see ums ate me alive. Took over 2 weeks to get rid of the rash.
