Watcha!!
I have recently moved out from the UK and with that I am starting to get cold turkey (no British telly)!
I have tried to download BBCi player though I have been told it isn't available for us in the US. This leaves me with BBC America - a repetitive channel watching the same Kitchen Nightmare's amongst other programs..
Need help, any help - even if I have to buy a huge dish and stick it on my forehead - HELP please!
Best - England Till I Die!

Search for threads with the words uknova or thebox in them. You'll work it out.

If you want the premiership when the new season starts Direct tv offer Fox Soccer Channel, Setanta and Setanta extra. For mainstream stuff my advice would be to get someone to set up a Slingbox for you in the UK - there are threads on here somewhere. I am currently watching Freddie Flintoff whack Middlesex around the park in the twenty/20 via mine.
Other posters may have alternative suggestions but I would be lost without our Slingbox.
Welcome to NY by the way - where about are you?

If you have high speed internet then you might try tvants. Its like peer to peer file sharing instead of music its with TV channels. Its a program made in china and has chinese ads but at the end of the day i was happy enough to watch sky 1 sky sports, bbc and even the FA cup final.

Dr. Bill prescribes a daily regimen of Judge Judy, COPS, and The View. After a few days, your cold turkey symptoms will fade into the background, replaced by an entirely different sensation of ennui. By the third week, your senses will be entirely numb, completing the cure.
