Banana bread beer!
I'm happy - found a liquor store that sells a couple of English bottled ales, namely Banana Bread Beer and Hobgoblin. Mind you, at $17 for just 3x 1pt bottles, I'll save it as a treat!

In 3 weeks I've only been to one... depends whether you like ice cold, fizzy drinks! I'll miss real ale and proper cider but tbh there's other palatable stuff here and - in general terms, not just drinking now - you win some, you lose some when you move abroad. Tons of Mexican restaurants around here, for example, compared to maybe 2 within 25 miles of where I used to live in the UK, and completely different (and better). But only 1 Indian here compared to probably 20+ where I used to live.

There are hundreds of really excellent American beers out there. In major cities there are usually lots of bars that carry a good selection of them, but it can be a bit more of a struggle out in the sticks.
