The birth certificate will be very interesting where it says place of birth!

WHAT AN IGNORANT RED-NECKED, CRACKER BITCH!!!

It would seem that when dealing with third-world pregnant female passengers, with or without US passports, BA should be a little more cautious about letting them on the airplane since these women's level of understanding of their own condition is so woefully inadequate.

Good going - 5 hours into the flight and she still popped it before landing.

Always said this childbirth thingy was a piece of cake...

Wonder if the baby get free upgrades for life?

I can't argue with that assessment at all!

Sadly I know a few people around here that would agree with her....

If the mother's native country allows dual citizenship (if indeed the mother has dual citizenship) then the child would hold both US and mother's other country's citizenship. Don't know why it would hold British or Canadian citizenship. While BA if British Airlines, I don't believe being onboard gives you UK citizenship and the child was born before landing in Canada. Just my thoughts on it.

Also mystified as to why she was allowed onboard at her advance stage of pregnancy. My daughter could not fly after the 7th month domestically which at most is a five hour flight.

Air space may come into it ... At the time of birth the flight was in Canadian air space ..

Are not the planes, the territory of the registering country, like ships? I suspect that the plane is British territory while in the air.

I rather like that they shifted other people into first class to give her more room

but sticking place of birth should be interesting on the passport
