Thumbs up B-29 Bomber

I'm currently in Wichita, Kansas for the weekend. Happened to be taking a walk outside of my Hotel, when 1 of the 2 remaining Airworthy B-29s came roaring by. Completely unexpected, but, I managed to snap this shot with my Camera.

N69972 is the Tail Number, aka "Doc"

Jim.

I was sitting on Eastbourne's seafront, for breakfast, a few weeks back and a Hurricane flew down the shoreline.

No pics though.

I just got back from this gentleman's funeral service. Lt Colonel Joe Kennedy, WWII pilot and instructor. He got some combat time in Korea in a B-29. First bomber with a pressurized cockpit and tail section, connected by a tube.
