Default The Animals at Work!

Well I have been in my new job for a little over 4 weeks now and this company is doing things very different from what I am used to. We are a small company of a little over 70 people and we are currently working out of 6 houses in close proximity. The building I am in has 4 cats living here with us. The building next door has at least 2 cats and a big old red dog. There is only one building that has no animals. Other than a hairy chair some mornings I have no problem with it.
SO! What do you think…

Good idea Bad idea? Anyone ever see this before?

Here are some pictures!

Scott

Hi Scott

Wondered what you were up to.

Looks a bit strange but I guess it depends what the nature of the work is.

Seems to be more common to bring your pet to work here. My husband used to work somewhere where the office manager would bring her dog into the office and the place he worked before that someone took their cat.

As someone who doesn't really like pets, I would hate it. I guess if its a small company where everyone agrees its fine, but some people seem to assume that everyone will love their pet just because they do.

I'd love it! But, as a soon-to-be dr, unlikely that I could have an animal at work....maybe a goldfish.

Office Angels recruitment agency in Croydon, UK used to let their staff bring their animals to work.....first time I'd come across it.

It wouldn't be one of you're threads without photos would it? How are you keeping Scot?

I am a dog lover, but I do not think pets should be allowed in an office environment. Maybe the cats are there to catch the vermin.

Think about the smell if there are several cats or dogs and the fleas and ticks.

Ticks carry Lyme disease which can be dangerous. I won't let my dogs near grass or woodland....poor things....have to keep to hard surfaces. Even then I bath and treat them weekly.
