I liked the film this song was the theme-song for. One of the first "grown-up" movies I saw. I think the song won an actual Oscar, & that was when Williams first sang it? (Audrey Hepburn sang it in the film, which was Breakfast at Tiffany's.)

I have another strange memory related to Andy Williams. When I was going to uni in Scotland, a single record (nobody remembers those I bet) was released to the radio that was supposedly sung by a would-be singer named Spider Savich (sp?), but I & all my friends instantly recognised the singer as Rod Stewart, who was becoming known then. Turns out Andy Williams's French ex-wife Claudine Longet was in a relationship with this Spider Savich, & the story was that as a favour to her Rod Stewart was showing Savich how to sing it & the Stewart version got taped & at first released instead of the Savich version.

I could never find the Stewart single to buy, nobody could, but it was good!
