Default American theme

Hi

sorry for straying onto this part of the forum (I normally stick to the Australian discussion boards) but I need a little help.

My work is having an American theme at the moment and I have been tasked with decorating 4 desks in an American theme. The rest of the office has a head start on me so the following themes are gone:

Old west salloon
hollywood / the oscars
harley davidson
cowboys and indians

I would like to create something really imaginative, and I have a budget of £20 and a timescale of half a day to get this done

any ideas guys?

Mel

Guns (ducks for cover!!!)
Big Trucks (ducks for cover again!)
Baseball
World Series (that no one else plays in)
American Football (where you use your hands)

Does that help?

Hi:

Although "dead presidents" is a nickname for paper currency, you might want to use Mt. Rushmore. [BTW, the nickname is inappropriate becuase the most desirable "dead president" -- Benjamin Franklin -- never served as President of the United States.

Statute of Liberty is always a good one.

The US flag or flaglike bunting.

Default 4th of July?

I was thinking along the lines of a 4th of July celebration type theme...red white and blue, flags, outdoor American BBQ, hot dogs and potato chips (not french fries..lol)

.......pumpkins or is that pumkins?
Halloween
Trick or Treat
Cheerleaders
and Philly Cheesesteaks... mmmmmm!!!

When I first came here I was asked if I wanted chips or fries with my first ever cheesesteak.... I said "but they're both the same, aren't they?" I think that was my introduction to American English
