But on the topic of chocolate, I have to admit that I grew up loving Bourneville, but now find it far too sweet and cloying for my taste. I love extremely dark chocolate, like Green & Black's bars, and also find that local chocolate shops make excellent chocolates. I'm sure there must be brands in the UK that I would enjoy, but there are also lots of excellent chocolates in the US when you get away from the supermarket brands. And when all else fails, head for some Belgian Neuhaus!

When I was 19 I au-paired in Brussels for 6 months. I used to drop the children at school then swing round to the corner café for coffee and a bar of Cote d'Or chocolate before going on to language school myself. Must have eaten way too much of the stuff as haven't been able to eat it ever since. Tastes equally as bad as hersheys to me !
