Ewwwww...

My lot request peanut butter m&m's, jolly ranchers, laffy taffy, big red gum, candy corn (barf) and once I was asked for Junior Mints. If it's for kids I hit walmart and buy a bunch of the 99c boxes of weird candy for them to try, swedish fish, mike and ike, milk duds etc, its definitely novelty factor over quality/taste.

If you think they're "edible", I'd be happy to send you some samples of what our cats leave in their litter box.

It is, but kind of pointless taking it back to England.

For kids how about Peeps (if any are in season) as they don't seem to be available in the UK.

Agreed. Ghiradelli squares are good - about the only American chocolate I'd consider taking to friends in the UK, if I wanted to keep them.

I've taken Ghiradelli a couple of times. I think people thought the chocolate was passable but really enjoyed the tins which they used to store nuts and pencils and whatnot.

Problem is you can now get Hersheys etc in the UK, stocked by ASDA, which is, of course, owned by Walmarts, all I'm thanakful for is that we dont get anything like the customers featured on 'People of Walmart' here in the UK

I'd take one of the Oreo special flavours. The peanut butter cup Oreos are delicious.

Do you have any local "boutique" chocolatiers? These folks are near us and the chocolates are delicious:
