We looked at some properties with lots of levels and steps (a few were steep), and said "No, this will only get harder the older we get." 
We've lived in this house through two winters and we congratulate ourselves often on finding a decent place with an extraordinarily short flat driveway. It's almost a pleasure to shovel, compared to a few houses we've had.
Now if only I could do something about that slope in the back garden....

Jeremy Clarkson used an apparently derogatory term for an East Asian on Top Gear filmed in Thailand. I say "apparently" only because I had not previously heard that word used that way, the word being "slope". Jeremy, on looking a the bridge they had build as a challenge-project which wasn't level, noted that "it had a slope on it', as the camera showed a paid SE Asian actor walking across it. ..... You reported that your back yard had a slope.
