The Dude takes a daily Zyrtec and a skoosh of Nasacort each morning to keep him sniffle free or else we get sniff, sniff, sniff all day long. We did pinprick allergy testing on him which showed no positive allergies. He was never allergic to anything in the U.K. - but at least we found something that works - he can't miss either though or the sniffing is back.

I've found that if I take one allergy medicine for about 2-3 months it stops working so I switch between Allegra, Zyrtec and Claritin every few months.

I started using generic Zyrtec about 2 yrs ago mostly because of ear problems from swimming. I soon found that any allergies, sniffles coughing etc disappeared within a few days of starting it.

Also Flonase is a great help, it seems if I am outside in the evenings I always get totalled stuffed up but two squirts of flonase before bed work really well.
