Alienstock Festival
Anyone else considering heading to Area 51 for Alienstock 2019? I have fully read IRS Pub 519 "US Tax Guide for Aliens" and consider myself fully qualified as a US Alien. The fun starts here:

Cuz in just 1 sweaty, sleepless, bug beddy night you'd blow hmmm....probably a good bad 3 hours of hard earned moolah, and neither IRS pub 519 Rules for Aliens nor the new Tax Regs imposed by HOH (Him On High), the REAL alien in the Casa Blanca - will allow "reckless squander" deductions on your Return (if you return).
Correction:
New Tax Regs do allow such deductions. But to qualify - ya gotta be part of the 1/10th of the 1% at the toppy tip of the heap. Which you're not.

Hmmm, not sure what is happening here. The website originally posted for Alienstock seems to have moved location for the event to Las Vegas, and now there is another website offering
for $130.

This area is not exactly short of empty state-owned land space, so I am not sure why it would cost $130 to pitch a tent? Perhaps free enterprise at work here.
I am not clear on the toilet arrangements in Rachel, if any. Folks seem to be turning up in RVs, but what if all you have is a tent? From what I recall of the Isle Of Wight Festival, and I could not remember much the week after that event, never mind now, the toilet consisted of a long trench above which were positioned two horizontal scaffold bars. One sat on the bars and pooped into the trench below. There was no privacy, we all sat side by side in an aura of peace, love, and crapping. Shit was available, but that meant something else.
