Alan Sugar shilling UKTVEverywhere - again
Seems like Lord Sugar is doing his annual shill of UKTVEverywhere again (see earlier).
I wondered if any of you have been using the service, and could give your opinion on it. I do the VPN thing and have my telly as a second monitor for my PC, but it's a bit of a pest.

Nice thoughtful link. You could have warned that it contains information about EastEnders!
We're behind and trying to catch up, so this is a big spoiler.
Please be considerate of that if you post about something.

Anyway, why should the whole world keep quiet just because you're behind. Stay off the internet to avoid spoilers.
P.S. He's dead all along....

No need to be a jerk about it.
Just because YOU don't watch, doesn't make it ok.
It could have been Dr Who, Sherlock or, more to your style, The View. Just try and think of others.
It may be difficult for you, but try - and no need for the smartarse replies, either.

I don't see how it's legal but I find it strange how Alan Sugar tweets about it when he has a show on the BBC. He's not the only high profile user, Piers Morgan is another that springs immediately to mind. I do keep toying with the idea, especially as I hate US tv that isn't sport related!

I'm toying with the idea too - though $25/30/mo is a bit expensive. I think my VPN costs me less than that for a quarter - only snag with it is that live TV can be a bit buffery.
I'm not too worried about how legitimate it is, but more about the quality

Never mind I'm sure life can go on despite the odd Eastenders spoiler can't it?

Re: Alan Sugar shilling UKTVEverywhere - again
Of course it can.
The thread is NOT about British TV, but a method of delivery. On another forum I visit, the OP would have been strung up for this. I just wanted to make it clear that not everyone wants what they watch spoilerised when there's no indication of it in the title.
I guess I'm defending the defenseless or something.
Anyway, on with the Sugar bashing (my old near neighbour in Chigwell, BTW).

It seems silly to pay money, I'm sure it can not be 100% kosher. There might be an argument if you want to just surf channels from one pile of rubbish to another. I can't complain about my free solution of sick-beard. I tell it what series I want and any episodes just magically appears on my TV screen.
