24 hours and we'll be in the US!

24 hours and we'll be in the US!
So in 24 hours time we should (if all goes to plan) be in New York! Our stuff was shipped on thursday, and we are currently sitting on deck chairs in our living room. We're all so excited, we're about to start our new life in New York, but unfortunatly my oldest son is midway through his GCSEs so he'll be staying in the UK until June.

Just two tips;
One of the nicest art galleries in the world = The Brooklyn Museum.
One of the most pleasant botanical gardens = The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens
AND, they are right next door to each other!!

I too used to live and work in Winchester (nine years for Hants County Council). I'd say where I live now, Tarrytown, NY, is the nicest place I've lived since leaving Winchester.

Should be in time for a bucket of snow....well we're expecting to be shat upon from a great height in MA...but we were supposed to loads this winter already and only really had one dump so far, rather lovely up in Maine though
